Pestana Alvor Park Suites Hotel

Quiet location. Small, friendly hotel. Easy walk to beach and supermarket. Some decent restaurants nearby. Good parking facilities. Pleasant library. Comfortable room, large bed, good kitchen facilities.

Great location, spotlessly clean....it was our 2nd visit in a self catering suite. They have everything you need ,complete with bath robes .Our room 1414b was on the top floor with a lovely private balcony and was lovely and quiet.The prices at the pool bar are really reasonable and the staff are lovely. It's a great base to explore the algarve. 10/15 min walk to the town and 15/20 mins to the beach .

Everything was perfect. Very clean everywhere, including poolside. Staff were all really friendly and created a nice relaxed vibe, but were also efficient and capable. The hotel is compact but had everything we needed in terms of facilities. The room was huge with a decent size bathroom and balcony, lots of lighting options, and was cleaned daily. Kitchenette was really helpful. Importantly for me, being of Asian background, there was no hint of racism from any of the staff and they were genuinely very friendly. Location was a handy position around 7 mins walk from the beach and around the same time into the town. I have stayed in quite a lot of hotels in my time, some very high end ones, and this was definitely among the best I have stayed at in terms of vibe, efficiency, cleanliness etc.

The property is located on top of a hill with apartments facing the sea. We were in the superior 1 bedroom apartment and the sea views were terrific. The apartment was very comfortable and very clean. The hotel grounds around the pool were clean and well maintained. Furnishings were comfortable, modern and not shabby. The balcony was a good size stretching across the width of the whole apartment. Front desk personnel were polite and attentive. If returning to Alvor, this hotel will certainly be at the top of the list.

Although breakfast is run by separate business is was really good, would book your breakfast with them upon arrival on first morning to get the best deal.
